Tips, Tricks, and Gear
Tip — I like to shoot vertical 8K, on a tripod and with my second camera I'm taking photos. Thenm in postm with the 8K you still get an amazing 4k or 10k horizontal video with some nice movement. It's important to have a fast card with lots of space because the 8K footage eats up space!

OWC Gear I Like
OWC Atlas Memory Cards — I used to only shoot max 256MB CF cards. I didn't want a card to fail and ruin a shoot. But now my confidence in the OWC Atlas cards lets me use 1TB cards! This means less stuff to bring, less cards to manage. The little things add up to big things, and I love only having to carry around a few OWC CFexpress cards to do everything I need for photo and video.
OWC ThunderBlade — it's seriously worth every penny. When I’m in my creative space, editing away, the faster, the better. It's keeps me working, saves time and i'm not getting any lag, so if I think it, I do it. And that is just worth it!
Workflow
Idea
What gear do I need? How can the gear help me achieve my creative goal?
Organize
Get the right gear for the job. Do I have enough storage? Enough battery?
Shoot
Always bring more storage then you think you will need. I like keeping it simple with how many lenses and cameras. But, I ALWAYS have a second camera just in case and I love to shoot bonus video or photo even if I'm just hired to just shoot photo or video
Offload
I keep enough cards that I can offload onto one fast drive immediately after shoot is done. I keep all the cards full until I get home and can have a backup made onto a second drive.
