Updated app, now in six languages, allows users to safely disconnect devices with one click

OWC®, a leading zero emissions Mac and PC technology company, has issued an update to their Dock Ejector app, a free download that safely ejects all drives connected to OWC docks with a single click. The enhanced app has been translated into six languages: German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, allowing OWC users worldwide to more easily simplify their workflow.
Perfect for fast-paced mobile workflows, Dock Ejector removes the risk and tedium of un-docking devices one at a time. By ensuring all data has been written before any disk is unmounted, users can safely eject OWC docks without stressing over losing or fragmenting files. Dock Ejector is compatible with Mac and Windows and is an easy shortcut to use in a production studio, editing suite, office, conference space, classroom…anywhere a workstation is located.
The Mac version of Dock Ejector now also automatically installs the driver which enables the high-powered ports on OWC Docks. This driver tells the operating system which of the ports on OWC docks support faster charging for iOS devices and wireless Apple accessories (e.g. keyboard, mouse, trackpad), and also enables use of Apple SuperDrive through an OWC dock.
