ARRI has unveiled its new ALEXA 35 Live (XR) Multicam System as a new, complete live production solution for those looking to bring the classic ALEXA look to world-class live productions.

Being offered as a set that features ARRI’s latest ALEXA 35 XTREME (XR) camera and a host of key production components, this live production solution is designed to deliver higher frame rates, more powerful hardware, and a complete toolset for fiber-based live productions.

ARRI ALEXA 35 Live (XR) Multicam System

Powered by the aforementioned ARRI ALEXA 35 XTREME(XR) camera, this full set will include the LPS-1 FCA-1 Fiber Camera Adapter, LLA-1 Large Lens Adapter with control module and cables, FBS-1 Fiber Base Station, Multicam Support Set 2, and camera-to-Ethernet FCA cable.

When all hooked up, these components will be able to harness the power of ALEXA XTREME’s high-end image quality and higher frame rates up to 660 fps, with a full mix of live production components.

The end result aims to bring that cinematic, ARRI-look to your live productions as the system will be powered by ARRI’s Super 35-sized 4K sensor. This means live productions will get that cinematic quality brought on by shallow depth of field and 17 stops of dynamic range—more than any other live production camera on the market.
