OWC Releases High Capacity iBook G3 Batteries More Capacity=More Running Time

Other World Computing (OWC) and Newer Technology have announced new high capacity batteries for all Apple iBook G3 12-inch 500-900 Megahertz (MHz) "Dual USB" models and all Apple iBook G3 300-466MHz "Clamshell" models.

The companies are offering two batteries for each iBook line as follows:

2600mAh "Dual USB" with 9% more capacity than the original iBook battery - US$119.99 4800mAh "Dual USB" with 45% more capacity than the original iBook battery - $139.99 4400mAh "Clamshell" with 37.5% more capacity than the original iBook battery - $129.99 4800mAh "Clamshell" with 50% more capacity than the original iBook battery - $139.99

The batteries are built from Li-Ion cells, and are assembled in the US. You can find more information on the new batteries at OWC's Web site.
